Workplace Giving

You can make monthly pre-tax contributions if your employer participates in a workplace giving program.  Although the difference to you each month may be barely noticeable, it will really add up to help cancer patients in need.

Please choose the VCS Cancer Foundation on your company’s workplace giving designation form! If your employer provides a United Way form, please write in the VCS Cancer Foundation and include our EIN number, 82-5047980. Remember, your gift is tax deductible.

Employer Matching Gifts Program

Many companies will match charitable gifts made by their employees.  Check with your human resources department to see if your employer offers this benefit.

Memorial Gifts

Please accept our condolences on the loss of your loved one.  A memorial gift is a wonderful way to honor your loved one while helping others in the midst of their cancer journey.  If you are donating online, include the name of the honoree on the donation form. If you would like us to send a notification of the gift, indicate the name and address of the person we should notify.  If you are donating by mail, please include all of this information with your check.

You may also invite others to donate in honor of your loved one by inserting the following in the obituary notice:

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the VCS Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 194, Herndon, VA, 20172 or at VCSCancerFoundation.org.

Legacy Gifts

Consider making a legacy gift by identifying the VCS Cancer Foundation as a beneficiary in your will.  This act of generosity will support future cancer patients in their time of need. Consult with your attorney and/or financial planner to evaluate a legacy gift option.
